The question that started it

I’ve always wondered which side of the train has the better scenery, or which airplane window seat gives you the best chance of seeing the thing you came to see. If I’m flying toward Seattle, which side will Mount Rainier mostly be on? On a train, should I sit left or right?

A side project for curious travelers

Scenic Sidekick began as a fun hobby project built around those questions. It helps travelers find a journey, choose a window, and know what to look for along the way.

Where it could go

Right now it is a work in progress. Maybe it stays a side project. Maybe it grows into a real app. Either way, I’m enjoying building the kind of tool I have always wanted to use.
